IT'S ABOUT BALANCE
You know what balance is all about. You may not notice that you are in in balance most of the time because it feels natural. But you have the ability to recognize when you become imbalanced. In the physical sphere, you know this innately. Your sense of balance makes you instinctually aware when you become imbalanced so that you can immediately make the necessary adjustments to restore your balance. You remember learning to ride a bicycle. You had to work at getting enough confidence and balance to ride it properly and well. You learned to continually adjust your physical balance as the situation required. You got better through experience and practice. You became so good at it that if you were not to ride a bicycle for years, you would easily be able to if you chose to with little effort.
It is the same with your mental and emotional balance. When you are in balance in this sphere, you live gracefully and skillfully. Sometimes, however, you are so distracted that you are not aware of developing imbalances with negative consequences. When you get upset or overly preoccupied with troubles you lose your balance having lost contact with your center of balance. That center of balance must be restored through the necessary adjustments. This is not always done as easily as with your physical balance. It is because the mind and emotions are involved. We are usually aware of our state of physical imbalance, but often unaware of our mental and emotional state which leads to imbalance. It is a bit harder sometimes to get back into mental and emotional balance after having had it upset. When you are in balance physically, emotionally, and mentally you are in your equipoise state. It is a calm, objective, rational and balanced state. You naturally gravitate towards this state. It is where you function best and brightest.
There is a simple method I discovered and practice that will allow you to access your equipoise state and to maintain your inner equipoise in all circumstances. It is generally not well known, but it employs basic fundamental principles of human nature in a simple practice that anyone can learn easily to achieve fast and lasting positive results without undue effort or extreme, often self-defeating efforts at conscious willpower.
This blog is all about helping people overcome living with upset or unwanted negative influences, thoughts, problems, and habits. It is a true path to balance in life.
